Today we will be visiting St Michaels Mount. Rocky Island with a Medieval church. Still has a working community on the island.
The mount is only accessible by small boat or walk across the causeway when the tide is out.
We meet Jay & Leah at their hotel Godolphin Arms and just chill on the deck until the tide goes out.

The walk across was cool. And upon approach you just realise how huge this place is.
Walked to the summit and into the castle. Fascinating place. Spent a bit of time here before heading back. Walking along the beach up to the car.

Said goodbye to Jay & Leah and we were Somerset bound.
The trip to Somerset was pretty much on time. Probably would have been earlier if it wasn't for queuing. What is queuing? No idea. Even after doing it, there us still no explanation.
You are driving along about 100ks on the motorway when for no reason, you just stop. No Ne moves. It's just all at a standstill.
So we are 'queuing' for about 20minutes. Then we move. We look for the reason for standing still. Accident? Traffic merging?? Lane closed?? Nope! Nothing. S it's fair to say we stopped for nothing.
So we move on, drive through Glastonbury and now we're at Wells.
What a cute place.
We check into the hotel, Crown at Wells. The Beergarden is buzzing with many of the locals catching up for a Friday arvo bev.
Getting late so first thing us first we are going for a walk to see if we can find a laundromat. Priorities!
What a cute little town. So much history here. Found the laundromat. Tomorrow I wash!!!!
Back to the hotel and we decide to just have dinner here tonight. Pretty good meal. Nice people here. Very homely.
Early to bed.... Again.
